One HOT Social Media Strategy 🔥

And how simple it is to implement right now...

A Social Media Strategy So Simple… It’s Hard To Believe This Works!

Hey Million Dollar Secrets fam,

There’s a social media content strategy that is so simple to use that it almost seems unreal!

For the past 6-12 months, I’ve been watching creators on IG and Tik Tok utilize this full-proof strategy and most of them are crushing it (if they are using it right).

Today, I want to share with you how and why you should implement reaction-based content on your social media.

DISCOVERING REACTION VIDEOS🎙️

Have you ever been scrolling on social media and see a video of a creator watching another video, then voicing their opinions on why they agree or disagree with the video?

These videos are crushing it right now - we call them “reaction videos”.

It’s content where you simply record yourself reacting to other people’s content!

If you’ve never seen what I’m discussing, I recommend you check out this creator on IG OR this creator on IG (this individual grew his ENTIRE 1M+ following just through this strategy alone)!

It’s super simple to create, but works so well! But, why?

WHY DO THEY WORK SO GOOD? 🔑

You may be saying, “Michael, I already know what reaction videos are!”

Ok, awesome! Are you using them? Do you know why they work so well?

The reason this style of video works so well is because people LOVE controversy.

Not only do people love controversy, but they also love to hear the opinions of others and most importantly, people want to know if their opinions are in line with the individual they are watching on the screen.

HOW TO MAKE GREAT REACTION VIDEOS 🔑

Although they work so well, there is a method to the madness. You shouldn’t just start recording yourself reacting to other people’s videos without a plan.

Here are a few things I make sure I tell my clients before they go into shooting this type of marketing:

  1. Be Specific With The Type Of Videos You Are Reacting To & Who You’re Reacting For: One mistake that I see so many creators make is that they “react” to SO MANY different types of videos. You need to make sure you’re only reacting to the videos and content that fall within your niche. Why? Because if someone sees your reactions video and they like what they see and hear, there’s a great chance they’ll follow you based off the content in that video… But, if you create another video reacting to a video in a totally different niche, that individual who followed you may want to unfollow you or not even engage because you are not hitting their interest. So, long story short, make sure you are reacting to videos in your niche and stay there! If you are a real estate coach, maybe react to other people’s content around interest rates, remodel fails, real estate tours, etc.

  2. Have Energy On Screen & Create Some Personality: Just like any other social media content to create, you need to put your personality into it! Don’t try to mimic others, but truly be yourself!

  3. Be Honest & Real: These reaction videos can create MASSIVE amount of trust between you and your audience. Why? Because you are now seen as the authority once you start reacting! But, you must first lead in your videos with honesty and value. Don’t be afraid to share real thoughts on what you’re reacting to… Don’t sugar coat it! Go all in!

  4. Have A Powerful Hook: You have to stop the scroll! Make sure you’re reacting to videos that are popular, have gone viral before, or maybe even are trending! This will increase the odds of your video going viral, because we already know people liked the content in the past.

There were a few other golden nuggets you can learn by watching other people’s successful reaction videos, but there’s one last note I want to drop:

A REACTION VIDEO IS YOU GIVING YOUR HONEST FEEDBACK ON SOMEONE ELSE’S VIDEO… AND SOMETIMES THAT FEEDBACK COULD BE POSITIVE FEEDBACK.

I see individuals create reaction videos and all they do is provide negative comments and negative feedback in their videos… This can actually hurt you!

#1 - It can lead to a lot of low quality people following you. This is not always the case, but sometimes you can attract individuals with a negative mindset if all you are doing is bashing other people in your content.

#2 - Providing positive feedback in your reaction videos, can also build more trust! It shows the audience that you know what you’re talking about and you’re not just a “hater” making videos for attention!

In summary, when you’re using “reaction-based” content, change it up! Some videos you may agree with, while others you may not.

Either way, give honest feedback for your audience.

I hope you take this information and use it to grow your following.

If you commit to this strategy alone for a few months, I bet you’ll see an increase in engagement and reach.

Blessings,
Michael Tucker
